ST. LOUIS RPM RAPIDO E8A LOCOMOTIVE GIVEAWAY

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE THE ODDS OF WINNING.

1. Sponsor

The St. Louis RPM Rapido E8A Locomotive Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored and administered solely by Thirty Five Productions LLC, doing business as Around The Layout Podcast, Plainfield, Connecticut (“Sponsor”).

The St. Louis Railroad Prototype Modelers Meet (“St. Louis RPM”) and Rapido Trains Inc. are not sponsors or administrators of the Giveaway and are not responsible for its operation, administration, entry collection, winner selection, winner notification, prize fulfillment, or any claims arising from the Giveaway.

2. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on July 23, 2026, and ends at 11:59 a.m. Eastern Time on July 27, 2026 (“Giveaway Period”).

The Sponsor’s computer system shall be the official timekeeping device for the Giveaway. Entries received before or after the Giveaway Period will not be eligible.

3. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to legal residents of jurisdictions where the Giveaway is permitted who are at least eighteen years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is greater, at the time of entry.

No purchase, event registration, admission fee, or attendance at the St. Louis RPM is required to enter or win.

Employees, officers, members, contractors, representatives, and agents of the Sponsor, as well as their immediate family and household members, are not eligible to enter.

For purposes of these Official Rules, “immediate family” includes a spouse, parent, child, sibling, and the spouse of each such person, regardless of where they reside.

The Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Entrants are responsible for determining whether their participation is lawful in their jurisdiction of residence.

4. How to Enter

During the Giveaway Period, eligible individuals may enter by completing and submitting the official Giveaway entry form at:

aroundthelayout.com/STLRPM

Only one entry per person is permitted during the Giveaway Period.

Duplicate entries, entries submitted using multiple names or email addresses, automated entries, and entries submitted on behalf of another person may be disqualified.

No purchase, payment, event registration, admission fee, or attendance at the St. Louis RPM is required to submit an entry.

Entries must contain complete and accurate information and must be received by 11:59 a.m. Eastern Time on July 27, 2026.

The Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected, corrupted, illegible, or not received because of technical problems, internet or website failures, transmission errors, or circumstances beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control.

Proof that an entrant submitted an entry does not constitute proof that the Sponsor received it.

5. Prize

One winner will receive:

One Rapido Trains HO Scale EMD E8A locomotive, Missouri Pacific “Eagle” Scheme, Road Number 7019, equipped with DC/DCC and sound, SKU 028584.

The approximate retail value of the prize is $336 USD.

Only one prize will be awarded.

The prize is awarded as described and may not be transferred, assigned, exchanged, or redeemed for cash. No prize substitution is permitted except that the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control.

Any product warranties applicable to the prize are provided solely by the manufacturer. The Sponsor makes no additional warranty, representation, or guarantee regarding the condition, operation, merchantability, or fitness of the prize for a particular purpose.

6. Winner Selection and Live Drawing

One potential winner will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.

The drawing is scheduled to be conducted live on the Around The Layout Podcast YouTube channel on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

The potential winner does not need to watch the livestream or be present during the drawing to win.

The Sponsor may change the drawing’s date, time, location, or method if circumstances beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control make the scheduled live drawing impractical. Any such change will not affect the eligibility of entries properly received during the Giveaway Period.

The Sponsor’s decisions concerning entry validity, eligibility, winner selection, administration, and interpretation of these Official Rules are final and binding, subject to applicable law.

7. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.

8. Winner Notification and Verification

The potential winner will be contacted using the email address provided on the winning entry form.

The potential winner must respond within seven calendar days after the Sponsor sends the initial notification and must provide any information reasonably required to:

• Confirm the winner’s identity and eligibility;

• Verify compliance with these Official Rules;

• Obtain a valid delivery address; and

• Arrange delivery of the prize.

The potential winner may be required to complete and return an eligibility affidavit, liability release, tax documentation, or other legally permissible documentation before being confirmed as the winner.

If the potential winner:

• Cannot be contacted;

• Does not respond within seven calendar days;

• Is determined to be ineligible;

• Provided inaccurate or incomplete entry information;

• Fails to provide reasonably requested documentation;

• Declines the prize; or

• Does not comply with these Official Rules,

the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected through another random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.

The Sponsor is not responsible for an email that is directed to a spam or junk folder, blocked by an email provider, returned as undeliverable, or overlooked by the entrant.

A potential winner is not an official winner until the Sponsor has verified the potential winner’s eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.

9. Shipping, Taxes, Duties, and Other Expenses

The Sponsor will pay the cost of standard shipping to the winner’s valid delivery address, subject to any geographic restrictions imposed by the shipping carrier or applicable law.

The winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, provincial, territorial, municipal, local, or international taxes resulting from the acceptance or receipt of the prize.

A winner located outside the United States is also responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, brokerage assessments, registration charges, or similar government-imposed costs associated with importing or receiving the prize, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The Sponsor will accurately describe and declare the prize and its value on all customs and shipping documentation. The Sponsor will not undervalue the prize, inaccurately describe it, or designate it as a gift solely to avoid customs charges.

The Sponsor is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, government agencies, shipping carriers, incorrect delivery information, or circumstances beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control.

If shipment to the winner’s jurisdiction is prohibited, commercially unavailable, or legally impractical, the Sponsor may take any action permitted by applicable law, including selecting an alternate winner.

10. Verification and Disqualification

All entries and potential winners are subject to verification by the Sponsor.

The Sponsor may disqualify an entrant who:

• Violates these Official Rules;

• Submits false, incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information;

• Attempts to submit more than one entry;

• Uses multiple identities or email addresses;

• Uses automated or programmed entry methods;

• Tampers with or attempts to manipulate the entry or drawing process;

• Interferes with the Sponsor’s website or systems; or

• Acts in a disruptive, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, or unsportsmanlike manner.

If the integrity or proper operation of the Giveaway is impaired by fraud, technical failure, unauthorized intervention, human error, website failure, or another circumstance beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control, the Sponsor may suspend, modify, or terminate the Giveaway.

If the Giveaway is terminated before the scheduled drawing, the Sponsor may select a potential winner through a random drawing from the eligible entries properly received before the impairment occurred, provided doing so is fair, practical, and permitted by law.

11. Release and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its members, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from or relating to:

• Participation or attempted participation in the Giveaway;

• Acceptance, possession, delivery, use, misuse, loss, or damage of the prize;

• Technical, website, internet, email, or communication failures;

• Incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, or unauthorized entry information;

• Unauthorized human intervention in the Giveaway;

• Errors in the administration or announcement of the Giveaway; or

• Taxes, customs charges, or other legally permissible expenses associated with the prize.

The Sponsor is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to an entrant’s computer, mobile device, network, or other property resulting from accessing the Giveaway website or submitting an entry.

Nothing in these Official Rules excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

12. St. Louis RPM and Rapido Trains Disclaimer

The St. Louis RPM and Rapido Trains Inc. are not responsible for administering the Giveaway, collecting or verifying entries, selecting or notifying the winner, shipping or fulfilling the prize, or resolving disputes concerning the Giveaway.

Rapido Trains’ manufacture, sale, promotion, or contribution of the prize does not make Rapido Trains the sponsor or administrator of the Giveaway.

Any references to the St. Louis RPM or Rapido Trains are for identification and promotional purposes only and do not imply responsibility for the administration of the Giveaway.

13. YouTube Disclaimer

The Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with YouTube.

YouTube is not responsible for the Giveaway, the drawing, the prize, or any claims arising from the Giveaway. By entering, entrants release YouTube from claims arising from or relating to the Giveaway to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The entry form is hosted on the Around The Layout Podcast website. Watching, subscribing to, commenting on, liking, or otherwise interacting with the Around The Layout Podcast YouTube channel is not required to enter or win.

14. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize grants the Sponsor permission to announce and use the winner’s first name, last initial, city, state, province, territory, or country for the limited purpose of identifying the winner and promoting the results of the Giveaway without additional compensation.

The Sponsor will not publicly disclose the winner’s complete street address, telephone number, or email address.

15. Privacy

Personal information collected through the Giveaway will be used to:

• Administer the Giveaway;

• Verify eligibility;

• Contact the potential winner;

• Deliver the prize;

• Prevent duplicate or fraudulent entries;

• Maintain legally required records; and

• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

Entering the Giveaway does not automatically subscribe an entrant to marketing or newsletter emails.

Any opportunity to subscribe to the ATLP Extra newsletter or other promotional communications must be presented separately and require the entrant’s affirmative consent.

Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with the Sponsor’s applicable privacy policy.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to the Giveaway shall be resolved individually and not as part of a class, collective, or representative action, except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.

Nothing in this section deprives an entrant of consumer protections that cannot legally be waived in the entrant’s jurisdiction of residence.

17. Winner Information and Questions

The confirmed winner’s name may be announced on the Around The Layout Podcast website, YouTube channel, social media accounts, podcast, newsletter, or other official communication channels.

By submitting an entry, each entrant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Official Rules.
